When we visit historic sites, we often debate about what’s a “redoubt” vs a “rampart,” so of course my first thought was “how does redoubt play into all of this. Well, look what I found about “redoubt”: “early 17th century: from French redoute, from obsolete Italian ridotta and medieval Latin reductus ‘refuge’, from Latin reducere ‘withdraw’. The -b- was added by association with doubt.” LOL. I don’t doubt that! 😂
A great entry, Nancy! (Doubt is my favorite performance of MS's!)
Thanks, Benjamin!
Thanks Nancy!
I find the quote about the opposite of faith of interest, even though I disagree with it completely.

I like this one, Nancy. I share your interest in all these variations on the theme of doubt. I'm not even of two minds about it.
