Nevertheless the Hotel Vitale had a fun outdoor deck with a great view of the SF Bay used for gatherings. Like many places here in SF its real demise was the pandemic and no parties allowed of course. What’s there now is criminally overpriced and boring. The erroneous inscription would even be an improvement.
Don't keep me in suspense. What are the errors carved in stone? I can't see five.
If something is to be carved in stone or engraved in metal, it really needs to be checked properly first. A local public swimming pool was officially opened in 1966 by an Australian swimmer, Dawn Fraser, who swam the inaugural lap. When we moved to the area in the 2010s, I noticed that the plaque commemorating the event spelled her name as 'Frazer', even though she was a hugely famous winner of multiple Olympic gold medals. I was going to tell the pool's managers, but never got around to it. When the swimming centre was renovated several years ago, a revised plaque was installed with the correct spelling.

I ate at Americano — maybe it was just coffee? — only once, indoors. Great location!
'Look at any word long enough and you start to see it as something unfamiliar, even foreign.'
You're probably aware that there's a name for this phenomenon. See 'semantic satiation' at Wikipedia.
