I want to know what you like (and, OK, hate) about this newsletter.
The last time I published a reader poll was in January 2024. Time has passed; my audience has grown. So let’s do it again! Responses are anonymous, and there’s no deadline (although of course I want to hear from you right now.)
Some ground rules:
Substack allows only one answer per question. If you have multiple choices, please vote for one and leave an explanatory comment at the end of the post.
When I ran a poll last year, it was open to subscribers only (Substack rule). That may still be true; I haven’t found any new info. If you’re a follower or a casual reader, you’ll need to subscribe (it’s free!) if you want to vote. Again, this is not my choice, it’s Substack’s.

Keep up the good work. I marvel at the depth into which you analyze everything.
Q3: I checked WotW/Y, but would have also checked brand-name stories and linkstack.
Q6: I've always had an interest in marketing, but I enjoy ALL of the choices. As a former (small-time) copy editor, just about anything to do with words is in my wheelhouse.
