There must be a word for when a post contains so many intriguing-sounding links that you have to go over it multiple times to visit and enjoy everything. Brava!
The "67 cringe-worthy clichés of book reviewing" is hilarious.
Also, in "Namerology" "America’s #1 brand-new name is Lahiam, …[from] Colombian influencers Deiby Ruiz and Katy Cardona…" Sounds like another transliteration of "L'chaim", Hebrew for "To life."
And apparently for more than a decade, one of the top boy's name has been "Liam." A surprise for this geezer.
I love these rabbit-hole fests. I've only read a couple of them and I have to stop for the moment, but regarding the Jony Ive / Sam Altman weirdly phony "coming soon" video, I would like to point out that this is nothing new in AppleWorld. the "creatives" at the top were always extremely conscious of their superiority to Homo sapiens.
And regarding signs in Japan, I envy that young couple for their opportunity to stay on a different planet for awhile. (Speaking of Homo sapiens and the variation among.) When I was there I memorized the characters in both alphabets and some of the Chinese-legacy characters, but it was chaotic. I would stand in front of a restaurant, dictionary in hand, sounding out the symbols on the menu, only to finally grasp that Hahm Bah Gah Ra-Ees Su was "hamburger rice." (It was quite good, for a person with my low tastes.)
After the (gulp) election, Kamala Harris was videoed and said "I told you so" regarding Trump. Is this phrase now becoming a symbolic saying for the Harris group? I like it.

Thanks, Susan!
The Germans have all the best words like that, so they may have one already :).

How come there are so many Nancys in the naming space? (Nominative determinism with the "Na" ?)
“Implicit egotism.” (Although I confess I don't know any other naming Nancy's besides us two and the late, mych-missed Nan Budinger.) https://wordworking.medium.com/you-yourself-and-your-company-name-9584d821eea4?sk=f937ae984645948751ca9e47938b428b

Anyway. Saving the others for later.
Thanks a million, Nancy. You're such a good writer, a link from you is a high compliment.
Nanner,
After the (gulp) election, Kamala Harris was videoed and said "I told you so" regarding Trump. Is this phrase now becoming a symbolic saying for the Harris group? I like it.
“Nanner"?
I was trying to be cute.
