So much good stuff here! I am trying to be disciplined and wait until my Easter holidays begin to start delving into these language morsels, but Lenten discipline only goes so far.
oh good lord no! That would be inhumane. My Lenten discipline is confined to avoiding Haribo, which takes all my willpower. Hence I am still all too capable of shirking other duties in order to wander down March linkstack rabbit holes.
I'm a little over halfway through my advance copy of True Color, and I am enjoying it immensely.
I pre-ordered True Color and cannot wait.
Also, "Nancy Man" ?? You and her and Nancy Wattenberg need to plan a get-together...
Her real name! (And it's Laura Wattenberg. I guess we're even now, mistaken-name-wise.)
Wait, yes. Duh! I think I'm thinking of "the Nancy who isn't you or her who posts on BNW a lot"
Correction: he's Josh Wardle, not David. (I met him at a party once! Nice guy.)
Ugh, I knew that. Brain fart. Fixed! (And thanks.)

You’ve given up reading for Lent?!

(didn’t mean to give you a fright)
Haha no worries. Haribo -- that's a candy brand, right? (I don't observe Lent, but I find candy to be eminently avoidable at all times.)
Yes, they of the gummy bears. And licorice allsorts. And many other chewy sweets that became menopausal comfort food for me, much to my dismay.
Thanks for the shout, Nancy!
All fun.
