Wow. Of course, a lot of us tree-huggers think bottled water IS a vice (canned water not quite so much) but we're not who the campaign is aimed at. And as a non-drinker, I guess I appreciate making water as sexy as alcohol. But still, weird.

At least, LaCroix Sparkling Water is made in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Speaking of tobacco and Natural Spirit, I am reminded of American Natural Spirit cigarettes. The brand is currently owned by Reynolds American, it seems, with HQ in Winston-Salem, NC. Do we anticipate a convergence of tobacco and water here as well?

PS Bottled water is indeed a vice — an environmental disaster in pretty much every day.

I cannot believe the people who smoke those raw unfiltered sticks and feel they are doing something positive for their health. Although what does the filter really do?

I don't think anyone who smokes thinks they're doing something for their physical health, though they might feel like they're doing something for their mental health.

I actually do know people, or maybe "a person," who feels they are healthier because they are "natural." He might have stopped smoking, though.

I thought about that cigarette brand as well. It's Natural American Spirit, though, usually just called American Spirit, so not quite equivalent.

Wow. Just wow. I’m just shaking my head at water and cigarettes being marketed with the same images and intent.
