Nintendo-esque certainly is how I'd describe George the Star; in fact, I think Nintendo can sue: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legendary_Starfy_(video_game)

The comments on BlueSky are really something. (If you don’t have an account, I still recommend viewing the absolutely shoddiest of all arches—arc de Temu, as one wag puts it.)

I included a Bluesky video of the arch in my post.

The replica Statue of Liberty is stunning marketing. I think with its one-foot-too-long arm and impossible shoulder joint holding the maraca, it shows that the huddled masses have the freedom to check out over-priced office space. Definitely, the statue of limitations.

The mock-up of Trump's high-tack Arch exemplifies the old-world design and craftsmanship he reveres. Great video.

I was going to say something pithy, but I'm just sitting here stunned...

What is the Ventura Boulevard replica of the Statue of Liberty holding -- a maraca?

That was Dan Freiberg's guess (see his comment in the thread).

Holding self accountable. This country still has great people. Just a FYI. Our anger is not justified; we need to be role models for the future generations. We know better.

1976 sounds more authentic. 100 years. I'll let my son and his generation celebrate 2076. Fingers crossed. 200 years.
