According to the rules of internet discussions, this trend should end when we reach Hitlermaxxing.

Just moments after reading this, I heard our idiot president say about Air Force One, "It has a lot of capabilities but, as I understand it, in about a month or so they're going to send it to have it be maxed out." Then he said the same thing again, in basically the same idiotic words.

How long before he claims to have invented "maxed out," just like he invented "groceries" and "affordability"?

Funny enough, I made my dumb joke because it repulsed me how quickly "X-maxxing Y-slop" seemed to become standard lingo for many people, when I think it's an extremely stupid critical framework (it also *sounds* like bad). I figured I'd make it dumber and stupider than ever — and to that end, I thought up "IMAX-maxxing" over your more elegant construction.

Thanks for the explanation about TJ Maxx v. TK Maxx -- I've always wondered.

And just last week, a segment of "Science Friday" broached - but did not, thankfully, delve into - the subject of "poopmaxxing."

I think we've maxxed out on all this maxx-maxxing...

Thanks -- I missed that one! Sounds like a consequence of fibermaxxing.
